Agreement for contract data processing
We have concluded an agreement for contract data processing with Webgo GmbH. This ensures that our service provider complies with the strict requirements of German data protection law in all points when operating with user data. This also ensures that your data is only stored within the EU with a high level of protection. Your data will not be stored on servers outside the EU.

At the Green PE homepage, you can subscribe to our newsletter for free by entering your email address to the newsletter sign up form. The newsletter subscription takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. After registration you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration or to cancel registration process. Therefore, you cannot be subscribed to our newsletter without you explicit permission. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged by date, month, year in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. If you do not confirm the newsletter subscription, your email address will be deleted after one month. We use the ‘Newsletter plugin’ to store your email address. Newsletter plugin stores you email address only in our WordPress blog database and does not transfer any data to this site or to any services of our company. We use your email address only for the distribution of the Green PE newsletter and we will not forward it to third parties.
At the end of each newsletter you will find a link with which you can revoke your consent at any time and cancel the newsletter.
This website uses the services of MailChimp for the newsletter distribution. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service that can be used to organise and analyse the distribution of newsletters, among other things. If you enter data for the purpose of newsletter subscription (e.g. email address), these are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA.
MailChimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The “Privacy Shield” is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to the MailChimp servers in the USA. This allows to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients. We would like to point out that we do not make use of these analysis options.
If you do not want MailChimp to analyse your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in each newsletter.
The data will be processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by cancelling the newsletter. The legality of the data processing processes already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data provided by you for the purpose of subscribing to our newsletter will be stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of MailChimp after you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Further details can be found in the data protection regulations of MailChimp at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.
Conclusion of a data processing agreement
We have concluded a “Data-Processing-Agreement” with MailChimp, in which we oblige MailChimp to protect the data of our customers and not to pass it on to third parties.
Your trust is important to us. Therefore, we are always available to answer your questions regarding the processing of your personal data. If you have any questions that this data protection declaration could not answer, or if you would like more detailed information on a particular point, please contact Kristina Teichmann at any time at email@example.com
