Meeting results
Many products of RER include power electronics components and the company is interested to follow-up on the newest developments in this field.
By presenting the technology and product roadmap developed within the Green PE project, the project partners from the Latvian Technological Center (LTC) provided RER with new insights on the world’s tendencies within the green energy sector.
The most important characteristic of power electronics elements for RER is their reliability. As most of RER’s products are anticipated to be exploited for many years and failures may be crucial, it is very important that power electronics elements are functional for a long time without loss of their properties. Therefore, the company is very interested in the Green PE demonstration pilots in the fields of e-mobility and renewable energies where the technical maturity, reliability and economic feasibility of advanced power electronics are shown.
RER showed also interest in participating in Green PE’s workshops, where the participants provide newest input to the project’s roadmapping process and where the latest project findings are presented to the regional companies.
Further important issues like possible internationalisation strategies and activities for staying up-to-date with the newest developments within the energy sector were also an important topic of the meeting.
